Upper: From the bridge at the Kirrierioch there's about 1km of flat water to Suie Linn the first fall, where the water falls into a tight gorge where most the water exits left, insect from the right. This sections continues with great read and run rapids down to Palgowan bridge.
Middle:Palgowan bridgeBlack Linn which has park and huck potentail if the rivers on the low side of good? This fall is a good one for a bit of practis if you hav ethe engery for a coulpe of laps. More nice white water leads quickly to Stroan Bridge where there is a good lead in rapid to Dog leg which at good levels can be skirted to the right though a punchy hole. Easy water for about 1.5km from leads to a bend in the river where things pick up. From hear you are heading in to the hardest sections of Minnoch where there are lots of rapids that vary significantly depending on water level. If you don't know the river scouting from the right bank is straight forward. Before the Falls of Minnoch (Linn of Glecaird on Os map) there are some tricky little rapids needing scouted depending on water level. The Falls of Minnoch is the biggest feature on the river and its desvers it's Grade 5 status, the fall has now had multiple runs downt he main line witch looks shallow but seems to go! At higher flow the lead in is chunky. Some nice white water leads to the next fall, The
Lower: From below Dog Leg just over 2km of easy water lead to the finnally of the Minnoch a 2.5km of exclent white water leading to Borgan bridge. A confdent group will easliy read and run this sections, but it worth knowing that the meater high entry ledge formes a huge hole in high water which can be avoided by going right. If you catch this section with good water level you will not be disapointed!
